Senior Product Manager
We’re looking for people to join the Access family, who share our passion for believing in better, and who will help us continue to grow.
Love Work. Love Life. Be You. - is central to our success and how we give our customers the freedom to do more of what's important to them.
What does Access offer you?
We offer a flexible, hybrid working environment where you can balance work and life while maintaining a strong office team-based culture. We deliver on what we say, taking the development of our people seriously. We’ll work with you to progress your success plan and provide opportunities to accelerate your career.
On top of a competitive salary, our standard 25 days holiday (which goes up the longer you’re with us), and a matched pension scheme, you’ll also be able to choose from a range of benefits to suit you. We’re an organisation that likes to give back, so you’ll also have one charity day allocated to support a cause that matters to you.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive forward the evolution of Paycircle, our small-medium business payroll solution.
In this role you will lead a team of Product Managers to create and drive the playbook for integrating Paycircle into our portfolio of HR offers, extending the reach of Paycircle to new market segments, and creating synergies with other offers in the Access product suite.
This is an exciting time to join a rapidly expanding business and lead a cornerstone of our product landscape.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Plan and execute the product strategy: You will work together with the Head of Product to create the product vision. You will own the product roadmap and drive delivery, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy and timelines.
• Lead and inspire your team: Support, mentor and inspire your team of product managers, fostering a collaborative culture and helping build a world-class product management organization.
• Drive integration: In partnership with Engineering and HR Product Leads, create robust and scalable integrations with our portfolio of HR offers.
• Focus on outcomes: Deliver value for our customers and stakeholders, defining and tracking KPI’s, iterating quickly and measuring outcomes. Drive go-to-market programmes with Sales and Marketing and follow-through to ensure adoption and user satisfaction.
• Be customer-centric: Demonstrate deep empathy for customer needs and pain-points. Conduct user research, monitor support issues, and gather customer feedback.
• Manage stakeholder communities: Evangelise the product vision, set and manage expectations with internal stakeholders, and maintain the client-facing roadmap.
• Optimise revenue: Engage with Sales and Marketing to ensure positioning, pricing, and messaging aligns with product strategy. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to keep the product competitive and identify upsell opportunities.
• Ensure compliance: Monitor impact of legislative changes and industry trends so the product stays ahead of changes and represents best-practice.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• An outcome-oriented attitude; understands difference between delivering outcomes over creating features
• Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills
• Highly skilled at translating product strategy and feedback into an actionable roadmap
• Adept at managing risks and dependencies
• Comfortable managing a large stakeholder community
• Builds strong working relationships with partners in Product, Sales, Support and Engineering
• Product management experience of a SaaS or Bureau offer in the HR/Payroll market
• Experience leading and mentoring a team
• Payroll domain expertise highly desirable
• Proven ability to make customer-centric decisions
• Demonstrates strong prioritisation and negotiation skills
• Experience of integrating products or services
• Demonstrable experience of nurturing and growing a product
