What is Group Payments:
Group Payments is the foundation of the Access PaySuite (payments division) growth plan and one of the top strategic pillars to enable double digit growth year on year by enabling payment services to the 100,000 group software customers and monetising payments through various different user journeys & use cases. Working in a small incubated squad and leading a small yet growing product team enabling embedded payments in direct to merchant software use cases for both B2B & B2C models. Group payments is a horizontal payments initiative to power the payments engine within the access group and cover multiple use cases from invoice management to fully embedded payments for direct consumers via multiple channels; Online, in store, recurring payments and providing enhanced reconciliation in the back office.
About you:
As an experienced Senior Product Manager, you’ll have worked within Payments, Financial services, SAAS, B2B or B2C software products before. You’re a Product Leader – an eternal optimist, an excellent communicator and an all-round team player. You’re dedicated to creating value for our customers and the market that they work within through building great solutions with great user experiences. You believe that great decisions / direction is born from great research and are willing to do what is necessary to ensure we go the right way. You are comfortable talking to our commercial teams as you are our technical teams. Fundamentally, you have a real desire to want to make a difference and are willing to persevere in order to achieve that.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Design, Define & Deliver embedded payments capabilities and monetise payments for specific divisions across the Access Group.
• Work with the P&E functional & divisional stakeholders to gather requirements for their payment needs within their existing SaaS products, translating these requirements into
• Epics/Features for Access PaySuite (APS) to build into their proposition.
• Create and align the product roadmap for divisions with the company's Strategy and Vision, leveraging market understanding, internal access & external customer insights, and competitive analysis.
• Drive product profitability and innovation, managing the entire product lifecycle, and set strategic direction from ideation to obsolescence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to communicate the product roadmap, develop and execute launch plans, and support sales and go-to-market initiatives.
• Develop expertise in customers' business processes, support pre-sales activities, and engage divisions becoming the payments Subject Matter Expert (SME) through indepth discussions with peers across the access group.
