About you:
We’re looking for a Web Developer to join the DesignMyNight.com team at The Access Group. Well versed in Javascript, comfortable with Laravel (desired) and excited to work in a creative B2C meets B2B environment, you’ll not only be helping to improve function, grow impact and support the way that our ever-growing website works, you’ll work closely with our Access Collins, Access Tonic and Access Soda teams to get the best out of our software too. Not only do you have a positive attitude, are flexible with timelines and changes to your daily schedule, you’re inherently process driven and willing to take on new challenges. You’ll be working across our stack primarily consisting of Laravel, AngularJS and MongoDB. Our Docker-based architecture sits on AWS and includes Elasticsearch, Redis and RabbitMQ.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Content Team to deliver new features to DesignMyNight.com
- Develop high performance experiences across different devices
- Improve UX functionality across DesignMyNight.com
- Help us expand our website to other countries
- Write and review high quality PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Skills and Requirements
- You’re skilled with PHP and competent with Git, JavaScript and CSS/Sass.
The following technologies are a big plus -
- Laravel
- HTML and CSS / Sass
- AngularJS (transitioning to React)
- MongoDB
- Redis
- Elasticsearch
- Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudFront + more)
- Docker
Desired
- You’re passionate about frontend development and leading web technologies
- You’re technically proficient, and excited to bring new ideas and skills to the table to better all products at DesignMyNight/The Access Group
- You’re an active and motivated contributor to all meetings, ideas and reviews
- Great communication skills are a must-have
- You will be responsible for scoping, estimating and executing project/updates/bugs
- You agree to work in accordance with the companies policies and procedures
- Any ad-hoc duties
