About you:  As a Senior Finance Business Partner for APAC, you will be a commercially focused individual, helping to drive the business towards achieving its long-term objectives. You’ll be recognized as an ambitious, motivated finance partner, with a strong grounding in financial analysis and metrics, with a broader, commercial outlook, necessary to support business growth and key initiatives. You’ll relish working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment within a very successful private equity backed business. In this critical role for Access, you will be able to work effectively at a senior management level, with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. You’ll have a detailed understanding of key performance metrics and a forward-looking mindset, with maturity and gravitas to influence people across the business. This is a high-profile role within the APAC Access Finance team and you’ll be working with senior executives, reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance at APAC. Day-to-day, you will:  • Use an in-depth knowledge of the key business drivers and understand how these translate into divisional performance. • Take ownership of the rolling forecast (next 12–18-month outlook) for the division, identifying risks and opportunities with suggested actions, sensitivity analysis – with the overall aim to provide a balanced but challenging forecast. • Work with functional finance business partners to drive appropriate divisional v functional tension in our matrix structure. • Prepare analysis, business cases, scenario planning and provide strategic insight to enable better decision making – be a sounding board and trusted advisor to the divisional leadership team and the wider business. • Provide a focus on forward looking insight, advising the MD on how to maximize financial performance. • Provide support on transformation projects from end to end – from concept to financial modelling, operational tracking and you’ll be able to think about the multiple impacts of projects not only on the division but the wider business. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Experience as a hands-on individual (preferably with accredited financial qualifications, for example ACCA/MBA), who enjoys both the detail but also the ability to stand back and articulate the ‘so what’ – you’ll be innovative with a naturally inquisitive mind. • You’ll be results oriented and highly numerate, with a desire to drive strategic and commercial outcomes – drawing meaningful conclusion and driving actions from financial analysis. • Good presence and influencing skills – ideally demonstrated through working with senior management and understanding commercial drivers of the Access business • Being a good, logical problem solver, demonstrating strong interpersonal and influencing skills – ability to form and leverage relationships, particularly through working with senior management. • Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under time pressure, in a fast paced, matrix organization, showing proactivity and resilience. • Being a confident communicator – both written and verbal; You’ll be able to challenge effectively, whilst maintaining professional integrity and showing empathy. • Strong excel or financial modelling skills, with ideally 10 to 15 years' experience in a similar role. • Can operate effectively in a virtual team environment across multiple locations What are we all about?  The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
