About You: You are a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Front-End Engineer who thrives on building clean, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces. You bring deep expertise in React and modern front-end technologies, and you're excited about crafting rich digital experiences that help transform the construction industry. You care deeply about user experience, performance, and accessibility. You enjoy working closely with Product Designers and Engineers to bring complex workflows to life with simplicity and elegance. You’re proactive, a strong communicator, and able to balance speed with long-term quality and maintainability. You’re also curious about the potential of AI-powered tools, and excited about integrating intelligent, context-aware features that improve productivity and enhance user experience. --- Day-to-day, you will: · Build and maintain modern, component-driven front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. · Collaborate with UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly features. · Implement AI-powered features—such as smart assistants, predictive inputs, or conversational interfaces—by integrating with back-end machine learning services and APIs. · Work on greenfield and legacy modernization projects, leveraging Next.js where appropriate for routing and server-side rendering. · Lead the implementation of scalable design patterns and reusable component libraries using tools like Storybook. · Optimize applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and performance across devices and browsers. · Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure UI reliability and resilience. · Work closely with back-end developers and data teams to define API contracts and integration patterns for intelligent services. · Participate in architectural discussions and help define front-end strategy and best practices. · Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of quality, growth, and collaboration. --- As a well-rounded Senior Developer, your Skills and Experiences likely include: · 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years using React. · Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with hands-on experience using Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks. · Deep understanding of React patterns, including hooks, context, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand), and advanced component architecture. · Experience with Next.js or other meta-frameworks for routing, SSR, and performance optimization. · Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and tools like Storybook for collaborative UI development. · Experience integrating with AI/ML-powered services—for example, using OpenAI APIs, search/recommendation engines, or internal ML inference endpoints—to enhance the front-end with intelligent features. · Strong testing mindset with experience using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. · Solid grasp of front-end performance optimization strategies and Core Web Vitals. · Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and how to implement accessible UIs. · Comfort with version control (Git), modern build systems (Webpack, Vite), and working in CI/CD pipelines. · Exposure to Azure services, especially where it relates to API management, AI services, or front-end hosting, is a plus. · Experience in the construction or field service industry is helpful, but not required.
