Our company is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team: Day-to-day, you will: •Contribute to the wider development & operations team(s) best practice, operational & Security excellence & reliable, transparent deliverables against the DevOps roadmap. Look for opportunities to eliminate silos, drive continuous improvement & automate business processes to maximise customer delight and eliminate TOIL •Design & Implement Infrastructure as code standards –using standard Access tooling •Perform technical and procedural operations of divisional IT operations, ensuring that agreed service levels are met, and all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to. Participate in the Scheduling and supervision of all IT maintenance and installation work. •Ensure that operational problems are identified, recorded, monitored and resolved. Provide appropriate status and other reports to specialists, users and managers. •Ensure that Application operations environments are architected for scale, security, elasticity, redundancy and recoverability. •Own, manage and be accountable for specific projects and deliverables, managing risks and dependencies with autonomy. Coach more junior team members. As a well-rounded Senior DevOps Engineer, your Skills and Experiences likely include: Microsoft SQL Server knowledge •Deployment of .NET applications (both .NET Framework and .NET Core) •Microsoft Azure •Server application schedulers and containers (Docker, AKS) preferable •Experience with code repositories (Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) •Infrastructure-as-code: ARM templates and Terraform •Knowledge of SRE principles and practices such as monitoring & observability. Using alerting for performance issues and bottlenecks in system and process flow. •Advanced troubleshooting (tracing, stack analysis, debugging, deep dives).
