About you: You are a passionate and experienced backend engineer who thrives in the .NET ecosystem, with a strong focus on building scalable and modern web APIs using .NET Core. You have a solid understanding of cloud-native development, particularly within Microsoft Azure, and are comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and modern architectural patterns. You enjoy designing and implementing robust shared services that empower applications across a diverse portfolio, with a particular excitement for integrating AI capabilities. You take pride in writing clean, maintainable code, love collaborating within a team, and are always looking for ways to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions. Day-to-day, you will: · Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using .NET Core. · Develop shared services that provide AI capabilities across a portfolio of applications. · Work closely with architects and product teams to design modern, cloud-native solutions. · Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices. · Deploy and manage services in Microsoft Azure, leveraging platform services where appropriate. · Collaborate with DevOps engineers to maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines. · Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions. · Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability. · Stay up to date with the latest trends in .NET development, cloud technologies, and AI integration. · Mentor and support other engineers within the team, fostering a culture of learning and innovation. As a well-rounded Senior Developer, your Skills and Experiences likely include: · Extensive hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core for building web APIs and backend services. · Solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Azure AI services, etc.). · Strong experience with designing and implementing modern, scalable, and maintainable architectures (e.g., microservices, event-driven systems, domain-driven design). · Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar). · Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB). · Good knowledge of unit testing, integration testing · Practical understanding of secure coding practices and designing secure APIs. · Exposure to AI/ML integration in software applications (even at a basic level) is a plus. · Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. · A proactive mindset, always seeking to improve processes, code quality, and system performance.
