Senior Account Manager – Local Government

About you:
You are an experienced sales professional who excels at building strong customer relationships and delivering value through technology. You manage the sales process, achieve targets, and work with teams to meet business goals.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Build long lasting relationships with our key customers. Partnering with their leadership teams to deliver value back into their businesses via our technology.
• Identify potential value creation opportunities, establish ROI and present this back to the business.
• Manage and own the sales process with the support of presales & consultancy team
• Work alongside our Customer Success teams to identify long and short term business objectives and measurements of success that can be demonstrated to our customers.
• Achieve a sales target for annual software subscriptions alongside annual consultancy targets.
• Have a good understanding of all Access Care IP and relevant 3rd party products.
• Respond to enquiries quickly and efficiently and provide feedback to cultivate the rest of the team.
• Host meetings at all levels with customers, particularly C-suite.
• Once a sale is made, ensure a smooth handover to the projects team.
• You may be required to attend exhibitions, host seminars, present sales ideas or attend meetings in support of other salespeople which may include several nights away from home.
• Excellent computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office.
• Have a full driving licence.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Previous experience in the Health, Support and Social Care sector.
• Previous experience in a B2B sales role or target driven account management role and or/
Previous business experience, running your own successful business.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a small team.
• Able to prioritise a demanding workload.
• Excellent communication skills, telephone, email and written.
• Act with integrity, loyalty and honesty.
• Show a commitment to self-development and lifelong learning.
• Travel and overnight stays where required.
