About The Opportunity:

As a QA Specialist at The Access Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated API test solutions for our services, with a focus on ensuring the seamless integration of our software solutions into the healthcare ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to influence quality throughout the development process.

 

About you: 

Key Responsibilities:
Automated API Testing: Develop and maintain automated API tests using object-oriented programming languages, preferably C#, to ensure the accuracy and functionality of our healthcare software services.
Service Testing: Conduct thorough testing of services, including mini services and microservices, to validate their functionality, scalability, and performance.
Continuous Testing: Integrate automated testing into the software development pipeline to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Quality Focus: Champion a quality-first approach within the scrum team, emphasizing the importance of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Shift Left Mentality: Promote a "shift left" mentality by identifying and addressing potential issues early in the development process to reduce defects and improve overall product quality.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Coaching: Support less experienced team members to become technically proficient with our Test Automation frameworks.
Test Strategy: Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases to validate the functionality and performance of healthcare software components.
Defect Tracking: Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including processes, test plans, test cases, and test results.

 

As a well-rounded Senior Quality Engineer, your Skills and Experiences will include:  

Proven experience in automated API testing using an object-oriented language, preferably C#.
Experience using a BDD framework, ideally SpecFlow.
Experience with testing services, including mini services and microservices.
Strong understanding of continuous testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work effectively in an agile/scrum development environment.

Desirable Experience: 

An understanding of healthcare domain concepts, standards, and regulations (e.g., HL7) is a plus.
JMeter.
K6.
Sass.
