About you:
You will be part of the Engineering team for our online card payments, digital wallets, scheduled payments and open banking solution. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software prior to release via manual and automated testing as applicable.
Day-to-day, you will:
Work within a Scrum team, delivering high quality software focused on test Automation. Actively contribute to refinement, and take responsibility for understanding scope, risk, and complexity of changes from inception through to delivery.
Improve the overall efficiency of functional and regression testing via better automation.Perform manual testing activities and sign-off the product releases for deployment to UAT.
Create appropriate test documentation. Efficient in developing automated test scripts using appropriate tools.
Ability to co-ordinate and plan the QA sprint/release activities. Strong understanding of the difference between functional and non-functional test types.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
Good understanding of source code management best practice (using Git), and ability to troubleshoot issues. Direct experience of working with delivery pipelines.
Your skills and experiences include working with the following technology and tools:
SOAP / REST API test automation; UI (User Interface) test automation; Jenkins/Azure DevOps; Git-based Source Control; Postman; JMeter
ISTQB or equivalent certification will be desirable
