About you:
You will be responsible for managing projects of varying types and sizes involving the Access People Division software products, delivered from within the Professional Services part of the business.
You will be expected to plan, co-ordinate and closely monitor the implementation of your project portfolio for both external and internal customers. These projects combine technical and operational requirement, delivered over of varying lengths of duration dependent on the scale and scope, handed over from the point of sale.
Day-to-day, you will:
Ability to lead customers on their implementation project, using industry know-how and project management best practice delivering excellent customer satisfaction
Own the overall project including creating plans, ensuring burn rates are monitored and days are aligned to the roll out plan
Ability to manage several projects across multiple customers
Run weekly Project Team meetings to report on the progress of projects - Identify risks, issues, and actions throughout the life of the project
Ability to think creatively and maximise the customer journey whilst delivering a revenue target
Ensure project milestones are adhered to by all parties by maintaining constant and consistent communication channels and ensuring that the relevant sign off documents are completed
Ensure all communication is fully documented in line with project implementation methodology
Manage customer issues/objections through to their resolution
Work closely with internal teams to ensure there is clear communication on all projects
Obtain certifications on Access products and continually improve their knowledge
As a well-rounded Project Manager, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
Worked for a software supplier in a customer facing delivery role
Proactive, works at pace, goal orientated with a strong delivery/milestone focus
Previous experience implementing and managing change programmes and projects to an organisation’s software solutions & systems, for a SaaS provider
Ability to build strong customer relationship and influence an experienced team of implementation consultants whilst driving project solution through to successful resolution
A sufficient level of technical ability and knowledge to enable a clear understanding of the proposed solution and translate that into a “joined-up” vision to the Customer and Consultant
Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills
Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of project profitability
Ability to identify opportunities for cross sell or upsell that will happen organically in-project
Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2, PMP or similar) preferred but not essential
This role may include national travel that may include overnight stays
