Day-to-day, you will: - Design and Develop Services: Responsible for building and maintaining services that can manage large volumes of data. - Database Design: Create and optimize databases while considering both functional and non-functional requirements. - Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and continuously improve it through refactoring. - Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance and address system failures to ensure reliability. - Mentorship: Provide training and guidance to junior and mid-level team members. Your skills and experiences might also include: - Ruby on Rails/Python Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails or Python development. - Frontend Development: Experience with frontend technologies like TypeScript, ReactJS, or VueJS. - SOLID Principles & Design Patterns: Deep understanding of software design principles and best practices. - Database Management: Extensive experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and optimization. - System Architecture: Experience working with complex system architectures, including API integrations with external systems. - Application Performance: Proficiency in application performance monitoring and optimization techniques. - Testing: Experience in writing and maintaining unit tests. - Web Security: Strong knowledge of web security practices. - CI/CD: Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Communication: Excellent in English communication. - AWS Experience: Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its application in production environments. - Ownership: A strong sense of responsibility and accountability for work outcomes.
