We take business operations online and mobile. About the role This is a challenging role in an exciting fast paced company with lots of opportunity to work within the DesignOps team. As a member of the team you will be collaborating closely with the DesignOps manager to ensure the successful execution of DesignOps initiatives and strategy. Within the DesignOps team, responsibilities encompass managing diverse resources, including tooling, licence renewals and new tooling, design system initiatives, as well as overseeing and producing comprehensive usage documentation, instructional guides, and strategic playbooks. Close collaborate with UX and development teams to effectively execute our overarching strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be working within a similar position currently and have sound, demonstrable commercial experience of working on Design Systems would be a plus. This role will suit you if you are: • Experienced in project management, programme management, operations, or design. • Analytical with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. • A strong communicator, coordinating with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product owners, researchers, and other stakeholders. • Promote DesignOps practices across the organisation. • Autonomous, able to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of specific DesignOps programs and projects identified by the DesignOps manager. • Highly organised with strong attention for detail, tracking the progress of projects and providing regular updates. As an Access team member, you should also be: • An excellent communicator, able to build and maintain relationships within the distributed UX and Product Engineering Teams. • Be able to plan and execute daily tasks, taking accountability of work, and managing changing priorities with resilience. • Friendly, professional, and approachable when dealing directly with other divisions. • A team player, helping others to solve problems and improve their work. • Humble and resilient, able to accept and offer critique, and willing to learn and grow through new ideas and perspectives. Day to day you will: • Facilitate collaboration and communication between different teams and departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of DesignOps programs and adoption of our design systems. • Providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations to ensure alignment with program objectives. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation within the UX design community. • Collect feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement in DesignOps practices. • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to DesignOps programs and projects, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process. • Collaborate with the DesignOps manager to prepare and present reports, presentations, and other materials to stakeholders, highlighting program progress, outcomes, and key insights. • Provide support and guidance to product owners and development team members involved in DesignOps initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Support strategic planning and roadmaps for DesignOps initiatives aligned with the organisation's goals.
