The role: The Access Centre of Excellence is responsible for ensuring that customers realise the potential of their partnership with Access through excellent service and provision of great, user friendly software applications that remove the complexity from business processes and allow companies to grow their business with ease and speed.
The focus of the role is to conduct parallel testing to ensure the system has been built to specification and ensure a smooth transition to APS.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Process client payroll in parallel to the customer’s live run
• Compare parallel payroll output to the customer’s live payroll data to identify any variances
• Liaise with build team and the customer to resolve any variances
• Weekly progress catch up calls with the customer
• Set up BACS and complete penny test
• Request HMRC agent authorisation
• Produce payroll procedure document and agree payroll processing timetable with the customer and APS
• Set up BACS and complete penny test
• Agree and sign off parallel runs with the customer and prepare customer go live handover to APS
• Continual improvement of processes to ensure our service develops on an ongoing basis
