The Role
The Access Group Malaysia GOC is a fast paced, rapidly growth environment where no two days are ever the same.
You will be reporting directly to the HR Director, the Onboarding & Early Careers Lead is key to supporting the rapid growth of the Malaysia Global Operations Centre, working closely with your colleagues within the People Team and with leadership & business leaders.

You will play an essential role in advancing our business growth and performance whilst ensuring we have an inclusive environment where every employee can do their best work. Measures of success include contributing to our overall People Scorecard and achieving KPIs for your specific business groups.
Day-to-day, your key responsibilities will include:
• Campus to Career (C2C) - Early-Stage Support
o Own and manage the Access Citizen Onboarding Program to ensure a seamless new joiner experience
o Oversee pre-boarding activities, including assigning and liaising with line managers in setting up Ground Buddies, Coordinating IT synchronization for laptop setup and Facilitating Access Citizen briefings, learning module moderation, and ensuring room bookings
o Execute Day 1 onboarding, including conducting half a day HR Induction and office familiarization. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enablement for the Access Citizen Program from Day 2-21. Facilitate (present) key training as needed
o Partner with Heads of Department to identify and onboard facilitators from respective functions
• Early Careers Responsibilities
o Work with the Global EC Partner to execute Access EC strategy in GOC KL
o Collaborate with the MD and Talent Acquisition (TA) team on university partnerships
o Maintain relationships with university contacts for events, sponsorships, scholarships, internships, and strategic projects
o Support functional heads in structuring and managing early graduate programs
o Facilitate and coordinate assessment centers for graduate hiring
o Implement policies around early careers and safeguarding
o Work closely with stakeholders to drive internship hiring and engagement initiatives
• Learning & Development (L&D)
o Work with the Global L&D team to implement Access global L&D initiatives at GOC KL
o Run local TNA across functions.
o Build local learning calendar.
o Facilitate training sessions for leaders and employees at various levels.
o Support and coordinate ongoing training initiatives across the organization.
o Manage and optimize the utilization of HRDF (Human Resources Development Fund).
o Assess, vet, and manage relationships with external training vendors.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Currently working with senior business leaders, with experience of working in a fast-paced environments (ideally technology or related industry) with ever changing priorities
• Experience of working in International, multi-functional organisation and in a matrix organisation is essential
• Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge and engage stakeholders
• Proven track record in driving a strategic HR agenda aligned to the business needs
• Comfortable with a common-sense HR culture; with a sound knowledge of employment law, you’ll know when to use your judgement instead of a policy
• Communication and great rapport building are your strengths; you’re able to draw upon real experience of relationships you’ve successfully managed
• You’re a team player who is resourceful, meticulous and able to multitask. You don’t shy away from rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in
• You’re prepared to go outside of your comfort zone and be ready to fail fast, it’s the best way to grow!
• You re resilient and comfortable with transparency, ambiguity and change
• You’re always looking for areas of improvement within the end-to-end employee lifecycle and people solutions
• You deploy a data driven approach to HR with a solid understanding of the digital HR landscape. You are able to apply a data driven approach to formulate and execute HR strategy
• Ability and openness to travel as required
