We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our passionate team working on the

DesignMyNight hospitality suite. As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on robust and innovative platforms which power the hospitality industry, enabling businesses to manage their table reservations, event ticketing and gift vouchers seamlessly.

About you:

You are passionate about crafting scalable, secure, and high-performance software. You have a strong background in PHP and JavaScript with a desire to work with Laravel and React TypeScript.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Team to understand requirements, contribute ideas, and

actively participate in the development of new features and enhancements for the software. Your contributions will directly impact the software's functionality and overall user experience.

• Provide swift and effective solutions to bugs and issues reported by our Support Team.

Troubleshoot and debug problems to ensure the stability and reliability of the software.

• Contribute to the expansion and improvement of integrations between our software and

various other platforms, such as EPoS and CRM, both within and outside the Access Group suite.

• Write clean, efficient and high-quality code in PHP and JavaScript. Adhere to the team's coding standards and best practices to maintain code consistency and readability. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and foster a collaborative development environment.

• Prioritize security in all software updates and enhancements. Maintain a security-first mindset and implement best practices to safeguard the platform and its users.

Skills and Attributes:

• Demonstrated proficiency in PHP and JavaScript is essential. Ideal candidates will have

experience with the Laravel framework for PHP and React with TypeScript.

• Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues and challenges. Aptitude for

troubleshooting and finding innovative solutions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential to collaborate

effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.

• The hospitality industry is fast-paced and ever-changing, so adaptability and the

ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are crucial.

• Prior experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications or booking

systems will be advantageous.

Experience with any of these additional technologies is a big plus:

• HTML and CSS / Sass

• AngularJS (transitioning to React)

• MongoDB

• Redis

• Elasticsearch

• Amazon Web Services (S3, ECS, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudFront + more)

• Docker

• Terraform
