About you, reporting to the Production Lead in the Content Collective Team, you will be:

As a Learning Designer within our Access People division, you will be responsible for designing meaningful learning solutions for our customers. 
Reporting to the Learning Designer Lead, you will be empowered to design digital learning courses with a purposeful user journey. 

 

About the role:

Working with a squad, consisting of at least one Learning Designer and two Content Developers, you will explore creative, innovative and engaging learning solutions based on the product or client needs. You will become the visionary of each project, guiding the design and treatment of the content. From researching to scripting, quality assurance to communications, you will be involved in the development of the courses at every stage.

 

Day-to-day, you will:

Work collaboratively within your squad and the Content Collective
Support the creation of engaging pre-sales documentation and presentations
Create design specifications including a course outline, art direction, development directions and technical specifications 
Apply instructional design to achieve agreed learning objectives and outcomes
Transform content for adult learners into an engaging online experience
Effectively manage stakeholders, clients and SMEs
Translate researched content into easy-to-understand learning
Demonstrate writing skills to design succinct, well-crafted scripts
Review course builds in a range of authoring tools and provide structured, detailed feedback
Accurately manage and account for your time within our project management tool (JIRA)
Attend client meetings including, but not limited to, kick-offs, content scoping workshops, progress meetings
Lead briefings and effectively communicate required tasks or actions across multiple locations
Approach projects with resilience, flexibility and ingenuity 
Create great, long lasting relationships internally and externally
Take ownership of deadlines and quality.

 

As a well-rounded Learning Designer, your skills and experiences are likely to include: 

Previous experience designing digital learning solutions in a range of authoring tools
Enjoying working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to design across a variety of industries and sectors (no
