About your role:
As a Learning Designer within our Access Health & Social Care division, you will be responsible for designing meaningful learning solutions for our customers.
Reporting to the Product Owner in Health & Social Care, you will be empowered to design digital learning courses with a purposeful user journey.

Working with our team curating eLearning content for the Health & Social Care division, you will explore creative, innovative and engaging learning solutions based on the product or client needs. You will become the visionary of each project who guides the design and treatment of the content. From researching to scripting, quality assurance to communications, you will be involved in the development of the courses at every stage.

Day-to-day, you will:
• Work with the learning team and Subject Matter Experts to translate their requirements into course outlines, art direction, development directions and technical specifications
• Apply instructional design to achieve agreed learning objectives and outcomes
• Transform content for adult learners into an engaging online environment
• Translate researched content into easy-to-understand learning
• Demonstrate writing skills to design succinct, well-crafted scripts
• Review existing content and provide structured, detailed feedback; update content as requested
• Act on feedback to update/improve learning content and multi-media assets
• Ensure content is published, uploaded and tested on the LMS
• Follow and contribute to the learning team processes and procedures, continuously improving these based on client feedback
• Support the creation of engaging pre-sales documentation and presentations
• Accurately manage and account for your time
• Attend client meetings including, but not limited to, kick-offs, content scoping workshops, progress meetings
• Approach projects with resilience, flexibility and ingenuity
• Create great, long lasting relationships, internally and externally
• Take ownership of deadlines and quality
As a Learning Designer, your skills and experiences are likely to include:
• An eye for visual design with excellent creative ability; including typographical, graphic design and layout skills
• Ability to transform script/storyboards from Subject Matter Experts into visually polished, interactive, engaging eLearning courses and/or multi-media resources
• Ability to creatively combine video, audio, visuals, text, quizzes and other resources to build full learning experiences
• Experience in using multi-media software and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise albeit training will be provided
• Experience in using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Enjoying working in a fast-paced environment
