The role:
As a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and security of our clients infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide advanced support and proactive solutions for complex issues related to Citrix, network, SQL, Intune, and Azure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a methodical thought process, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Day-to-day, you will:
Provide expert-level support for Citrix and RDP environments, to ensure seamless operation and performance.
Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, optimizing network performance, security, and reliability.
Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting for SQL databases and applications, optimizing performance and reliability.
Administer and support Intune for mobile device management and Azure services.
Collaborate with 2nd Line Support and other teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and incident resolutions to maintain a knowledge base.
Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure components.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
Proven experience as a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on Citrix, networks, SQL, Intune, and Azure.
Citrix certification (e.g., CCA, CCE, CCP) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, etc.).
Proficiency in SQL database management and diagnostics.
Experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure services.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical thought process.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
