About you:
As a Jr. Software Engineer, you are proficient in typical programming languages such as React, C# Core and SQL. You are someone who cares about attention to detail, adhering to a project plan, and want to work with a team that makes a real positive and tangible change.
While a large part of the Jr Software Developer role is development work, the role is designed as a graduate position where you’ll be exposed to the full life cycle of a project, including requirements capture, design, implementation and testing.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Develop software solutions to meet predetermined specifications and automate manual procedures.
• Writes clear & self-documenting code, organises methods and classes appropriately. Able to refactor existing code to improve readability
• Actively contribute to requirements discussions and requirements analysis, and take responsibility for understanding scope, risk and complexity of changes
• Analyze, identify and fix root cause of defects throughout the various layers of an application Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to leverage resources and expertise in support of learning initiatives
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• You are skilled in typical Web & .NET /CORE technologies (e.g. C#, React, WebApi, SQL, HTML, Javascript, CSS and Python)
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• You are open to learning and working with technologies across the entire stack (e.g. infrastructure, databases, automation, screen readers)
