About you: We’re looking for a motivated Junior M&A Research Analyst to join our Origination team and help us discover exciting new acquisition opportunities for The Access Group. If you have a passion for B2B SaaS and a basic understanding of M&A, this is a great chance to deepen your knowledge. In this role, you’ll be researching companies and markets to spot potential acquisition targets, gaining valuable experience along the way. You'll need to be skilled in research, comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint, and able to work well with different teams. If you have strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail, this role presents a strong opportunity to advance your career in the M&A field. Day-to-day, you will: Conduct research on companies, markets, and geographies to identify new investment opportunities Prepare reports and presentations to summarize research findings Collaborate with the M&A team and divisional members (including VCPs, Sales, and Product) to develop a clear M&A strategy Your skills and experiences might also include: Bachelor’s degree with 1-4 years of industry experience (e.g., sales, project management, consulting, accounting, audit) Experience in the technology or software industry Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Strong research and analytical skills What are we all about?  The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
