Access understands that Information security is key to our clients and of course the Access Group. We have close to 100 products and services in our portfolio, employing over 3000 staff across multiple locations throughout the UK and this role is pivotal to our continuing Security Compliance and associated certifications.

About you:
You are interested in information security and data protection and are looking for a job that will be varied, busy and provide an opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop a career. You are a dedicated and committed professional who pays attention to detail and who can adapt to an ever-changing environment. Working as an essential member of a small team, keeping pace with company growth, legislative requirements and maintaining Information Security across the Access organisation whilst ensuring business processes are not compromised.

As a well-rounded candidate, your Skills and Experiences likely include: 
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001:2013 (not essential)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft products
  • The ability to prioritise and organise workload
  • Confidence in planning and executing change
  • Able to organise datasets and analyse results
  • Able to communicate at all levels

Day-to-day, you will:
  • Assist with GDPR Rights requests 
  • Monitor and report on Information Security training, including chasing & recording
  • Monitor and report on policy sign up and agreement
  • Triage incidents and alert other team members of high priority ones
  • Carry out investigations on low level incidents and provide recommendations on improvements and training
  • Provide reports and analysis on incidents and other tasks
  • Respond to requests from customers
  • Process and chase supplier assessments in line with policy requirements
  • Assist with the onboarding of acquisitions and mergers 
  • Manage internal logical access audits 
  • Assist with planning ISO27001:2013 audits with external auditor
  • Manage Information Security mailbox
  • General support to Information Security Team
