About you:

As a talented and professional health and safety leader, you have a passion for driving compliance and safety. As well as having excellent communication, presentation and helping to shape environments that make people smile.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • To lead on all initial H&S matters by providing current advice, which reflects our culture and balances your H&S expertise and a common-sense approach to create great outcomes.
  • Provide internal advice to employee’s and offer assurance that risk is considered and actively managed.
  • Be responsible for H&S compliance and work with our Facilities Team to deliver a consistent H&S approach across our offices.
  • Be the escalation point for all H&S matters and provide guidance on complex cases.
  • Uplift and maintain compliance on all areas of H&S, including: Risk Assessments, Contractor Assessments, Risk registers and Compliance in line with ISO standards.
  • Review regularly and advise on changes to H&S best practices, laws and regulation.
  • Be part of the H&S committee and drive through safe working practices in a working group and be responsible for action register.
  • Liaise with third party contractors to resolve H&S occurrences or corrective works.
  • Take ownership of First Aiders, Fire Marshals processes and ensure regular review the lists marshals and aiders and ensure correct numbers are in place.
  • During fitouts, dilapidation or general office improvements to provide advice and mitigation on the risks associated with works.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Experience In HSE and Environmental management within office environments (preferably in the Technology Sector)
  • Relevant qualifications in H&S such as NEBOSH Diploma or IOSH
  • You are curious and want to make positive change that improves the quality of the office experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant ISO standards so that we are and remain compliant within the standards and to drive improvement planning along with the Facilities Team.
  • Experience and confidence in working with European legislation and to assist in the delivery of H&S and Environmental improvements - desirable.
  • Experience working across a large portfolio in a fast-growing business.
  • You embrace change mindset and a can-do approach.
  • Experience working with senior business leaders across multiple locations.
  • Reporting on audits, office conditions, risk and creating playbooks to deliver an all-round H&S experience is essential.
  • Raise awareness to leadership on necessary and impactful improvements.
  • Able to work on your own initiative to deliver and manage multiple key projects across a large portfolio.
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure to deliver on projects and overall driving a great experience for our employees and customers.
  • Experience working in fast paced environments, you have the ability and confidence to lead via your own experiences and competency.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and an ability to adapt to essential technology so we can digitalise and grow towards a leaner future.
  • You’re a team player who is resourceful, meticulous and able to multitask. You don’t shy away from rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in.
  • A full driving licence and ability to travel is essential.
