About you:
Responsible for KL Global Operations Centre (GOC) general ledger and internal / external reporting related activities which includes preparation of Balance Sheet and P&L, CAPEX, cash flow, annual budget / forecast and centre KPI management. This includes issuance inter-company invoices to entities within GOC scope. Monitor cash flow and ensure all collection made on timely manner. Carry out controls to ensure team adherence to the expected service standards.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Performing month-end accounting tasks. Processing the journal entries related to month-end close, reconciling General Ledger accounts based on SLA.
• Processing and booking of inter-company invoices with timely follow-up on issues related to invoice matching. Coordination of monthly inter-company balance confirmation, resolving any issues and differences. Ensure settlement are performed timely at all times.
• Maintaining the fixed asset register for GOC organization and coordinate additions, disposals and periodic physical verification processes.
• Monitor GOC cash flow, evaluate future needs, and obtain financing where required.
• Produce periodic management reports with insightful analysis in a timely and accurate manner with compliance with internal and regulatory/statutory requirement.
• Perform reasonableness test and variance analysis of the financials every period. The incumbent has to be knowledgeable on the principal activities of the entity to perform a meaningful review of the accounting and meticulous with an eye for details to be spot on in identifying issues.
• Respond to any external/internal requests for financial information to fulfil statutory, regulatory and tax filing requirements.
• Prepare Balance Sheet, P&L, cash flow statement
• Support annual budget and forecast.
• Prepare the audited financial statements, and ensure submission within statutory requirement.
• Prepare and submit corporate tax estimates, monthly instalments, annual tax submission, in accordance to timeline set by regulators. Act as key focal contact for other tax issues as well.
• Active participation in specific projects within GOC and any other duties
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or equivalent. CPA / ACCA is a plus. Xx
• Min 5 to 7 years’ experience in Finance and accounting processes
• Shared services/GBS/BPO experience preferred
• Be able to work with virtual and/or matrix teams.
• Be able to work with cross-cultural team ideal
