We’re an organisation that likes to give back, so you’ll also have one charity day allocated to support a cause that matters to you.     About you:  We are looking for a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional with 0-3 years post-qualification experience to manage and support the development of two assistant accountants. You should be a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently. Demonstrating credible and professional behavior, you will have excellent communication skills and advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 applications. A meticulous approach and strong attention to detail are essential for success in this dynamic role. Day-to-day, you will:  • Manage and support two Assistant Accountants, while overseeing key month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. • Ensure timely and accurate cost recharges between entities, review exceptional costs, and understand the treatment of intangible assets. • Partner with the business for timely information, support the Senior Financial Accountant, and assist in consolidating group accounts across regions. • Collaborate with acquisition teams to ensure accurate accounting for subsidiaries, while driving continuous improvement and providing ad-hoc analysis.   Your skills and experiences might also include:   • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on building efficiencies and automating processes. • Preferable experience in a private equity-backed, highly acquisitive company. • Strong understanding of VAT, with experience in VAT returns being advantageous. • Familiarity with Dimensions accounting software is preferred.
