Apply to find out more. About you: You are an individual that is enthusiastic, motivated and passionate with a strong work ethic. You will positively demonstrate the following attributes. Day-to-day, you will: For each acquisition: • Due Diligence: Conduct internal finance operations due diligence, including reviewing data rooms, meeting acquisition finance contacts, and identifying/reporting issues and risks. • Integration: Manage finance integration post-acquisition (group insurances, VAT, fleet, treasury) and oversee interim monthly accounting/reporting until systems go live. • Collaboration: Build effective relationships with legacy finance teams and interact with integration, M&A, and finance systems teams through regular meetings. • Process Improvement: Migrate balance sheets to Access financial systems, handover to BAU team, assist with acquisition onboarding tasks, and continuously seek process improvements. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Qualifications: Part Qualified/Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong Excel skills. • Work Style: Self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. • Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, inquisitive, and credible professional. • Skills: Excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail with a methodical approach Skills and experiences that are a plus: • Exposure to an acquisition environment background. • Any experience within a global group would be an advantage. • Exposure to Access Dimensions software would be a benefit but not essential.
