About you:
You are an experienced frontend developer who is highly technical, loves solving complex business and technical challenges. You like to write clean, self-documenting and performant code. You are strong team player who is happy to coach and mentor junior developers on best practise and how to enhance their technical skills. You are very experienced and understand how the structure of an application can impact the users experience and can strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design. You are focused on delivering high quality solutions and working in a team to bring solutions for complex business problems to market. You are constantly seeking to improve both your own skills and the skills of others and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic company.
Role-specific:
An exciting role within the ERP divisions working on one of our core SaaS products. You will join a very passionate and experienced team responsible for driving the innovation of our Financials product portfolio. The Financials product is under-going a transformation of the user experience and we are looking for an experience React developer who is passionate about user experience to help us on this journey. We use Hybrid cloud and are moving more of our technology stack to Azure and use GraphQL, .Net 6 and MS SQL server - the primary focus of this role is front-end React development.

You love to understand the user problem you are solving and solve it in the best way possible. You are happy to contribute and challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
Experience working on accounting and financial software would be a significant advantage in helping to understand our users.
Day-to-day:
• Collaborate with our UX design team to solve customer problems with a great user experience.
• Prototype solutions and come up with innovative solutions with our product and design teams.
• Take a methodical and data driven approach to solving problems.
• Analyse, identify and fix of root cause of defects, using debugging techniques and tools.
• Identify, compartmentalise, and execute refactoring with a balance between commercial and technical maintainability.
• Proactively contribute to Technical Roadmap, demonstrating good understanding of technical, commercial and risk factors, and recommending priorities.
• Code review other developers work, providing constructive feedback, advising on best practice, and coding standards.
• Own, manage and be accountable for specific projects and deliverables, managing risks and dependencies with autonomy.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and direction to other members of the development team. Champion a quality focussed approach showing ownership for QA activities and collaboration with the QA team.
As a well-rounded Senior Frontend Developer, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
• At least 5 years’ experience in ReactJS or a similar Javascript framework.
• A passion for design concepts and user experience.
• Software Design patterns.
• Experience architecting and developing performant, scalable SaaS web-based systems.
• Proven ability to deliver software in an Agile environment.
• Understanding technical issues and considerations and provide constructive feedback to the development team and other stakeholders.
• Excellent documentation skills, attention to detail and an ability to communicate detailed technical issues to stakeholders and to the internal business/project team.
• Unit testing frameworks.
