About you:
The Divisional FP&A Partner is a key role within the finance department responsible for managing the financial reporting across the Division, providing analysis and insight to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and consolidation techniques. The FP&A Partner will be an integral part of the Divisional Commercial Finance Team and will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights to drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and review financial reporting for the Divisions including P&L and other KPIs, including non-financial metrics.
• Responsible for production of the Divisional monthly reporting packs for the Management Team, including commentary and explanations for variances.
• Work closely with the Group FP&A team to continually develop, enhance, and standardise financial reporting models and KPI’s.
2. Financial Analysis & Modelling:
• Develop financial models, perform variance analysis, and create reports that provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze historical financial data and trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Monitor key revenue and profit drivers, identifying unexpected variances and providing recommendations for corrective action.
• Work closely with Commercial Finance Partners to provide ad-hoc analysis for the Division to support decision making.
• Continuously look for improvements in processes and implement best practice.
3. Forecasting and Budgeting:
• Assist in the development of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather relevant information for forecasting.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue and cost projections.
• Work closely with the Group FP&A team to drive standardisation of forecasting and budgeting.
4. Data Integrity
• Maintenance of management information reporting, ensuring accuracy of reporting and cleanliness of data.
• Operate across different sources & platforms and turn large data sets into consumer-friendly structured summaries.
• Implement and champion best practices and adopt systems based & scalable solutions to streamline reporting procedures.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA or CFA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and consolidation software and tools, experience with Salesforce, Tableau and SQL a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis.
