Access Group is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team: Must-haves: • CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) stages for the development of build, test and deployment processes. (Azure DevOps desirable) • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services (Azure desirable) for deploying and managing applications in cloud environments. • Version Control Systems: Proficiency in Git for source code management and collaboration. • Containerisation: Familiarity with Docker/PodMan and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes for managing containerised applications. • Scripting and Programming: Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ruby) for automation tasks and custom tool development. • Application Security: Understanding of processes and techniques to apply and enforce security principals. • Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems. • Experience with configuration or deployment tools • Knowledge and experience of agile development processes. • Basic troubleshooting (log analysis) Nice-to-haves • Microsoft SQL database knowledge • Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic desirable) • Advanced Troubleshooting (tracing, stack analysis, debugging, deep dives) • Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform What are we all about?  The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
