About you:
Reporting to the Automation Delivery & Ops, Team Leader, the Automation Delivery Engineer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of automation projects to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, leveraging advanced tools such as RPA, Databricks, and integration solutions, and ensuring that automation initiatives are aligned with business goals.
The Automation Delivery Engineer will also focus on the efficient execution of projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering innovation through emerging technologies.
Day-to-day, you will:
Project Delivery:
• Support with identifying and defining automation projects that support our company ambition of delivering a world-class and frictionless customer experience.
• Manage and deliver automation projects within defined timelines and quality parameters.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Leverage tools like RPA, rest API, Databricks, and integration technologies to develop and deploy scalable solutions.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Operational Efficiency:
• Ensure optimal performance of automation workflows, reducing manual intervention across business processes.
• Develop best practices for automation delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability.
• Optimise data workflows, addressing bottlenecks, and enhancing data accuracy and accessibility.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Ensure transparency and alignment of automation efforts with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams.
• Provide insights and updates on project status, performance metrics, and improvements.
Technology Adoption & Innovation:
• Continuously explore and recommend emerging technologies to drive automation efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automation and data operations.
• Foster a culture of innovation by proposing new tools, methods, and solutions.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with automation specialists, product & engineering leads, and other team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure project success.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• 4+ years of experience in automation delivery, process optimisation, or similar roles.
• Proven track record of managing automation projects and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in SaaS, technology, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong project management and organisational abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tools like RPA, Databricks, and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with CRM and support tools such as Salesforce, Intercom, and JIRA.
• Innovative and forward-thinking, with a focus on driving operational excellence.
• Collaborative team player capable of working across diverse teams and priorities.
• Adaptable and resourceful in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
