About the Role:

As a Citrix engineer within the Access Cloud Engineering division, you will be responsible for completing several tasks relating to the company and division requirements. This will include but not be limited to:

• Deployment and Configuration: Installing, configuring, and optimizing Citrix components, including creating and managing virtual machines, application delivery controllers, load balancers, and

virtual desktops. This includes setting up policies, access controls, and security configurations.

• Citrix Farm Management: Monitoring and managing Citrix farms and environments to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability. This involves troubleshooting and resolving issues

related to Citrix infrastructure, application delivery, and virtual desktops.

• Performance Optimization: Analyzing and fine-tuning the Citrix environment to optimize performance, responsiveness, and user experience. This includes monitoring resource utilization,

troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, and implementing performance enhancements.

• Security and Compliance: Implementing security measures and best practices to protect Citrix infrastructure, applications, and data. This involves configuring SSL certificates, implementing

multi-factor authentication, managing access controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards.

• Documentation and Training: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system configurations, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Providing training and

support to end-users and IT staff on Citrix technologies and best practices.

• Collaboration and Support: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including network administrators, system administrators, and application developers, to ensure smooth integration and

operation of Citrix infrastructure with other systems. Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve user issues and incidents.

• Responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the Citrix environment while providing technical support to users.

Key Skills required for this role:

• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

• Previous relevant experience as a Citrix Engineer

• Deep understanding of Citrix environment

• Ability to work on own initiative.

• Ability to fully understand customer requirements.
