We’re an organisation that likes to give back, so you’ll also have three charity days allocated to support a cause that matters to you.   About you:  This role reports into our Head of Engineering Excellence within the Product and Engineering (P&E) function. You will be responsible for researching, documenting and analysing the processes within P&E, suggesting change, documenting requirements and user stories for the development teams and supporting the continuous improvement across P&E. Day-to-day, you will:  • Develop an understanding of the core business processes, customer requirements and key reporting attributes • Document end to end business processes within P&E • Document tooling integrations and work with the Tooling Lead on required changes • From research and analysis make recommendations for change and document accordingly • Support the Transformation and Excellence team on analysing and documenting business process requirements for key project deliverables • Create clear user stories and work closely with development teams to support understanding and delivery • Support testing of end to end changes, ensuring sufficient test scenarios are available • Support communication of business process changes • Working with the Head of Excellence, support the continued creation of a SWOT analysis across the P&E function in order to identify areas for improvement, this will include improvements across all disciplines within P&E (Engineering, QA, DevOps) • Attend and participate in workshops and interviews to gain feedback and analyse the need for improvement in process. • Ensure recommendations for change are aligned to the company and functional vision and objectives. • Work in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures Your skills and experiences might also include:   • You have an good understanding of the software development lifecycle and have worked in P&E teams. • You have great attention to detail and are able to define new processes to support improvement. • You are comfortable with an agile environment, enjoying a fast-paced and collaborative atmosphere, demonstrating the ability to co-ordinate and plan your work, help unblock others, and prioritise in a scrum environment. • You are excellent at creating appropriate documentation to explain solutions or to support the implementation of initiatives and learning. • You take pride in your work and the work of your team. • You demonstrate ownership, responsibility and good decision-making skills.
