Our core value of ‘Love work, Love life’ has been central to our success and so we’re looking for people to join us who share our passion for making things better every day, to help us become a UK top 10 Software company.
What are we all about?
We're passionate about helping our customers stay one step ahead of the challenges facing their industry and business. That's why over 1 million users and over 40,000 organisations rely on Access software to help their organisation thrive.
We have a huge data estate, not just from the applications we develop but also from a number of open and 3rd party sources. This data has significant potential, of which only a fraction is currently being realised. We regard this data as a product and are looking for a business analyst that specialises in data to work alongside the product owner and data services engineering team to maximise the value that can be derived from it.
You will need a strong background in data lake/data warehouse management (from a strategy/planning side more than a technical one, although the latter would be an advantage), and experience of ingesting data from product databases for secondary use.
You will work as part of an established data services team focused on delivering business value from our data assets.
Work alongside the data platform product owner to deliver the product roadmap for the data estate and market sectors aligned with the company Strategy and Vision.
Strong analytical skills able to abstract business process flows and key drivers and metrics from user interviews and systems documentation. Pragmatic
modelling ability to derive models, processes and representations of a meaningful nature that are computationally feasible and robust
Fully aware of data quality and issues and the impact of classification diversity across organisations and indivduals
A firm grasp of data privacy regulations and an understanding of tools/techniques to comply with them.
We are a growing software company and we deliver on what we say we do! We take the development of our people very seriously! We will work with you to carve out your success plan and an opportunity to accelerate your career and make a real difference.
In addition to our standard benefits of 25 days holiday, a match contributory pension and healthcare you will get:
A Competitive Salary
Giving Back/Charity days Quarterly Socials
6 weeks Sabbaticals (after 6 years of service)
The Access Group Big Break: our all-expenses paid holiday to Spain
