Payroll Hub/Team Leader

Bureau Team

The payroll team provides outsourced payroll management on behalf of 1,300 clients. The client accounts vary in size and complexity and the payroll bureau executive is allocated a mix of client accounts to manage. 

The Payroll Hub Leader will have a varied workload, as directed by the Operations Manager. This could include running payrolls of any Pay Frequency. The mix will vary from week to week, with activity increasing in the second half of each month.

Job Role:
• Mentoring Payroll Executives
• Complete Monthly One to Ones and ESP’s for Payroll Executives
• Provide an Escalation Point for Customer Issues
• Ensure that all Department Tasks are completed in line with Standard Operating Procedures
• Support Key Processes such as Invoicing, Departmental KPI’s and Customer and Employee Survey Responses
• Manage a set number of dedicated Customer Accounts 
• Running of Customer Payrolls from Start to Finish
• Work with Professional Services to ensure that New Payrolls are handed over in a Satisfactory Manner

• Ability to Continually Seek and Implement Process Improvements

• Excellent Communication Skills 
• Take ownership of Customer Escalations and manage to conclusion 
• Confident and Knowledgeable within all aspects of Payroll

• Ability to take initiative and work within a fast paced dynamic team
