About you:
As a Billing Specialist for the Access Group's Ireland operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. You will be responsible for managing the customer ledger, invoicing clients, and resolving billing-related inquiries. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Prepare and send accurate invoices on time, verify billing data, resolve discrepancies, and monitor billing cycles to ensure adherence to company policies.
• Maintain and update the customer ledger, reconcile accounts, and manage outstanding invoices by proactively following up on overdue payments.
• Respond promptly to billing inquiries, and collaborate with customer service to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
• Generate reports on billing and accounts receivable, analyze data for trends, identify process improvements, and ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial standards.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, and proven experience in billing or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, billing procedures, Microsoft Excel, financial software, and familiarity with Irish tax regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
