About you
As a BI Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and optimize BI dashboards and data warehouses. You will work closely with squads to understand business requirements, ensuring that both dashboards and data warehouses are designed effectively to deliver high performance and reliability. If you have a passion for data, business intelligence, and creating scalable data architectures, we'd love to have you on board.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure BI dashboards and data warehouses meet business needs.
- Design, build, and optimize BI dashboards for actionable insights and performance.
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Implement and tune data warehouses and SQL queries for scalability and efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across all systems and users.
Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in BI engineering with a strong focus on dashboard and data warehouse development.
- Proficient in relational databases (especially Postgres) and skilled in query tuning and database optimization.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools and ETL pipeline development; knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Familiar with scalable data warehouse design and performance tuning, with ClickHouse experience as a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills and a plus for experience with Logi Analytics or dashboard layout design.
