My advice is to put yourself out of your comfort zone and accept new challenges!
Last March I was given the opportunity to broaden my horizons within Access and move out of a fantastic team that sold software into the Education sector into the ERP team. I was excited to work in a new team alongside some of the highest performing sales people within Access.
This was a big step! I knew the Education world so well and loved my clients but I was ready for something new and wanted to make the leap. It was a tough choice as, at Access, we have so many sectors to choice from and great products that give our customers the freedom to focus on their priorities.
With the entire Access product suite at my fingertips, I've hit my first year target in ERP in 9 months and am in touching distance from Presidents club!
I'm really pleased I pushed myself and took the risk to try something. I took a lateral step and with the great support from my managers, I really feel like I'm flying!
I'm looking forward to the next 5 years at Access.
